The metal comb binding is used for the production of trio calendars or loose-leaf calendars, notebooks, catalogs or presentations.
The combs differ in diameter and color. Most comb binding machines use a 3: 1 binding.
Metal binding combs are produced in three basic standards:
- 3: 1 - three loops per inch
- 2: 1 — two loops per inch
- 4: 1 — four loops per inch
